Abstract

From the initial research that researchers did, related to
motivation in general showed that measurement of employee
motivation was important to be done in order to assist
management in making decisions regarding human resources
and finding ways to achieve maximum performance for
unmotivated employees. Motivation carried out by PT. BRI
(Persero) is still less than optimal because there are still many
employees whose work is assisted by other people such as
schoolgirls who are apprenticed. This reflects the motivation in
PT. BRI (Persero) has not improved the performance of its
employees themselves. The purpose of this study was to
determine the effect of multidimensional work motivation scale
and motivation at work scale on the level of motivation of
employees at PT. People's BankIndonesia(Persero) Tbk.
Sisingamangaraja Medan Branch. The number of samples in
this study was 86 people using saturated sample techniques.
The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The
results show that multidimensional work motivation scale has a
significant effect on employee motivation. While the variable
motivation at work scale has no significant effect on employee
motivation. Multidimensional variables work motivation scale and
motivation at work scale simultaneously have a significant effect
on employee motivation
